Pet Portraiture

Cordelia Kent Art

Talented Artist Cordelia Kent has been really busy lately starting her Pet Portraiture business. Wadhurst Culture managed to catch up with her in-between working on her commissions to find out more about her work:

Cordy: I have lived in Stonegate my whole life and attended school at Uplands Community College where I had a big interest in art. Since then I have studied Interior Design at Falmouth University, recently graduating with a First-Class Degree.

Due to the current situation it is very challenging to find a job. However, I have taken up my art again and have set up a mini business in Pet Portraiture. I create realistic portraits in both graphite pencil and coloured pencils. The use of coloured pencils allows a range of depth to be added and a sense of realism.

If you are interested in a portrait of a beloved pet or favourite animal feel free to contact me:Instagram or Facebook: Cordeliakentart

Thank you for taking the time to talk to Wadhurst Culture about your exquisite portraits and the inspiration behind starting your business, Cordy. We know you'll continue to be very busy with commissions we'd better let you get back to work!
